On Saturday, June 20, in partnership with DARNEL and IDRD, we carried out an environmental awareness campaign at Simón Bolívar Metropolitan Park to promote proper waste separation and strengthen environmental stewardship among visitors and local businesses. During the activity, we trained 80 businesses, emphasizing the importance of separating organic waste into the green bag and recyclable materials, such as cardboard, plastic, glass, and metals, into the white bag. As part of the initiative, we also shared practical guidance on the types of waste that belong in each bag to encourage proper waste management and resource recovery. In addition, we distributed rulers made from recycled clean expanded polystyrene (EPS), showcasing the material's potential to be transformed and reintroduced into new production processes, while promoting circular economy practices and responsible consumption. If you would like to contribute to environmental protection and participate in initiatives that create a positive impact in the community, we invite you to join the Biocirculo Community.
